Anglepoise Fifty

The original Anglepoise® lamps were designed for engineers and draughtsmen who needed to see the page with absolute clarity, free of shadows. The heat from the light bulb was even used to help dry their ink. Today these tasks are carried out on an illuminated computer screen. What is important in today’s office environment is getting the right balance between ambient lighting and task lighting, to give people comfortable working conditions.  Millions of work hours are lost each year due to poor lighting in work environments. The Anglepoise® Fifty™been frozen at this angle to perfectly light the work space whilst creating an ambient work environment.  Its friendly look and feel should also bring a smile to the working day.
