wow! nice pier, sparking my childhood memory, also looks like a Chinese novel scene in the article by Lu Xun. anyway that’s wonderful idea.
“atomik architecture has sent us images of their winner entry in the bura 21st century pier competition. their entry was judged to be the most realistic, sustainable and potentially successful design for a modern pier. the pier creates a destination point, attracting visitors and businesses and encouraging coastal regeneration initiatives. architect christine heil and environmental consultants xco2 worked with atomik architecture’s mike oades to design the pier. the competition was organized by the british urban regeneration association.”
